Gordon Dean is the senior partner at the firm and specialises in litigation. He is Head of the Employment Department and Commercial Litigation Department.
Gordon initially trained as an accountant, working at Lotus Cars and the Norwich Union, He then studied Law at the University of East Anglia and Nottingham Trent University. After joining the legal profession, he trained at a Norwich City firm and rose to partner level, before founding Gordon Dean Solicitors in early 2005. He completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Employment Law at the UEA in 2007.
Gordon is active in local politics, having been a County Councillor and Chairman of the Norwich Liberal Democrats. Gordon is keen to support a Norwich Law Centre and is on the board of Norfolk Community Law Service (NCLS), which provides free advice on employment, family, debt, housing and discrimination law.
Gordon is also a committee member of the Norfolk and Norwich Law Society and a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA).
In 2014 he founded DLM Partners Ltd, an IT Consultancy helping businesses with their IT Disputes.
He is married with two daughters, Lily and Rose.
Debbie is an experienced Legal Secretary and has been in the profession for 32 years, working within Employment, Wills and Probate, Conveyancing, Criminal Law and Matrimonial/Family. She made the move to Office Manager in August 2019.
Debbie enjoys attending rock concerts with her husband and youngest son in her spare time, is an avid PC Gamer and likes to spend time with her pets, two Maine Coon cats and African Grey Parrott.
Joel has a master’s degree in Law and in his spare time he enjoys baking, gaming and spending time with my two Jack Russells.
Jasper joined the Norwich office in September 2019 after completing an 8 week puppy training course in July and August.
His main skills include playing, barking at the postman and welcoming every employee in the morning. His main duty is napping in reception.
In his free time he enjoys long walks, and meeting other dogs in the park.
